Yeah our bodies are certainly capabl...Hi Genevieve,<br />Yeah our bodies are certainly capable of doing so much for us. When I think of how much abuse I've put my body through,eg. dieting/bingeing, and the rest, it's amazing really as it just keeps right on going despite it all. <br /><br />Like you said, if I make the effort to look nice I feel better about myself. But sometimes I still feel self-conscious of my shape and size. Like when I get out of the pool and walk to the change rooms - I don't wrap myself in a towel to walk so I'm 'exposed' as it were. But then I think, well, I am what I am. But, in the back of my mind is still the feeling that this is only a temporary state and I will get thinner one day,,maybe. So, I think if I still have that thought, I haven't truly accepted myself as I am. <br /><br />Like you, I'm often told that I smile with my whole face and people say I have a lovely smile.
